Countdown begins for the 2012 ISIC Event!

Taking place in Miami from 21-23 May, preparations for the 2012 ISIC Event are in full swing! The ISIC Event is the number one event on the calendar for ISIC’s local issuers and a valuable event for ISIC’s global and endorsement partners, and other organisations aiming to reach or support the international student community. The three day, invitation-only gathering is a unique, interactive platform for participants to learn, share and grow.

A major highlight of the 2012 programme will be the ISIC Award Ceremony. An annual initiative, the ISIC Award recognises and rewards an organisation working on a global scale to reduce social, economic and cultural barriers and increase access to education. This year’s worthy recipient will receive a €20,000 (USD 26,500) contribution to support the continuation of their outstanding work to improve access to higher education opportunities.

Coordinated and managed by the ISIC Global Office, the 2012 ISIC Event will build on the success of the inaugural event held in Tallinn, Estonia in May 2011. For more information visit www.isicevent.org.
