The Youth Travel Industry Giving Back – Volunteer Projects

In cooperation with WYSE Volunteer & Travel, this year we are once again offering delegates the chance to give back to the local community before WYSTC begins.

Following on the success of the past volunteer projects at WYSTC and WETM-IAC,  WYSE Volunteer & Travel aim to recommend projects for this September to allow WYSTC attendees to experience volunteering first-hand.  Not only does this give you the chance to make a small difference, you can also benefit from informal networking opportunities.

Delegates are advised to arrive on Monday 16th September so that they can join one of two projects on Tuesday morning. These projects will be announced in the near future so watch this space!

“Being a part of the pre-WYSTC delegate volunteering project provides the opportunity to for delegates to give a little back.  Year on year, working in collaboration with WYSE Volunteer & Travel, WYSTC invites and encourages delegates to be involved with the local community.  Participating in the projects and supporting this initiative continues the active role we all play in reaching out to others across our global network” explains Events Manager Laura Garratt.
